As a Center student and former staff member, I personally gained much during my college years from participating in LCB programs. As a child, I never would have dreamed of being in a position to give back to those who have offered so much to me. I donate to the Center so people can benefit from the services and programs to achieve the dignity they need to exceed their highest expectations. My contributions are a small way to thank the center for opening doors and possibilities for me and hundreds of other blind people and their families.”

“At 45, I had a family and a career, and my eyesight was rapidly deteriorating. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend LCB where I gained the skills and confidence to attend and complete college. Also because of LCB, I was able to return to the workforce in a very rewarding career. It is important to me to support the transformative work LCB does and to ensure other blind people have the opportunity to achieve successes like I have had.
